This place was big on rules: step away from the bar when you are done ordering, have your pint and leave--even when the place is empty as it deserves to be, and there's a code for the bathroom (although there's nothing to dry your hands with once you do gain access). Plus, the staff was curt. Go down the street to the Jolly Judge, Deacon Brodie's, or one of the other countless pubs on the Royal Mile instead..
