"Average food - rude staff"

Having been a regular of the cafe/restaraunt I wont be going back after some absolutley shocking customer service.
We requested several times for our table to be cleaned, and were ignored. When we asked the staff on shift they said nothing. The actual waiter who we asked first to take away the plates etc, blatantly ignored us.
I get the impression some people resent other people eating out and having a nice time, either way the service and attitude of some of these staff who are meant to be serving the public, is totally awful.
Maybe its complacency: lots of families and clearly middle class/posh student types with money, which has given the place a distinct "not too bothered about the quality of service" type attitude.
I will not be back.
