"Excellent bridal shop - highly recommend"

I would highly recommend Thistledown as a bridal shop. The ladies are gentle and loving and free with helpful advice. They're not salespeople pushing a sale. They give you the impression of having your best interests at heart. They can be discrete with difficult family members. They offer a very tasteful selection and have proven very flexible.

The first time I went in was just to ask for generic advice regarding bridesmaid dresses. They were very free with their advice on a suitable style for 4 very different body types even when I was not sure I would be a customer. 6 months later, we ended up going for the exact dress she had recommended the first time.

The atmosphere is inviting and private with time devoted to you rather than a room full of brides + attendants.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It was a relief to deal with them and have everything taken care of so easily and stresslessly..
