"Original Indian Cuisine Not Post Lager Curry"

A review of Suruchi Restaurant by Stephen Graham written on Wednesday 7th of March 2007

I have been eating in so called Indian restaurant for ages experiencing what we Scots call Indian food. I went to Suruchi in Nicolson Street with work colleagues and I was amazed at their menu. The place was full of Indians eating which is a rare sight anywhere else. They had no Bhuna or Madras just dishes from each region of India. Apparently their staff all come from India and don't know to cook any British curries. We went for a banquet and the food was gorgeous. It reminded me of food I had during my gap year in India. It is worth a visit..
