Gone are the days of chicken pies in silver foil - thankfully! The new refurbishment is top notch and a lot more warming. The food is fantastic - I had a hefty bowl of soup and a juicy steak, whilst experimenting all the local ales. The staff were friendly and actually a good laugh - added to the nice atmosphere. 10/10 recommended, have been back several times.
