"What is Tor REALLY like?? an insiders view..."

I worked as a nurse in Tor for eight and a half years, which is five years more than I originally intended!Why did I stay on? Because quite simply it is an amazing place to live and work. There's no doubt the work is hard, but as part of the Tor 'family'(as I have come to think of it!)you are inspired to give everything you've got to help to create a loving enviroment. Excellent standards of nursing care,a sense of community and purpose..and a positive vision for developing as an individual(this goes for staff and residents!)

I've now left Tor, as Im emmigrating, but I will always think of it with love and apreciation, for all the wonderful people I worked and cared for. .
