A review of The Cramond Inn by Avril - Friday 4th of May 2007
I have not been to the Cramond Inn for a while, since we moved out of the city, in fact. We used to go there for a weekend treat or to meet friends for an evening meal. Last Saturday (end of April) was a glorious day and we decided to go for a nostalgia trip. I have to say that I was a bit dubious after reading the reviews posted on this site and feared that the Cramond had changed for the worse. However, I phoned twice before we went and each time I got a very welcoming reception so I decided to chance it. We were very glad we did -- we found the staff very friendly, the food was fresh and delicious and we were all really glad we had gone back. I won't wait so long before I return and I highly recommend it to anyone! One thing I would say to people who grumble about so-called unfriendly staff -- bear in mind the old saying: treat people well, and you will be well treated.
