- We arrived on a Saturday evening at 19.55hrs to be waved in the general direction of the back of the cafe, where there was a table for 2.

- We sat down, and waited for our order to be taken, and listened as the lady opposite us complaining that she had been waiting for 20mins for her order to be taken.

- When placing our order, what we wanted was out of stock.

- When our drinks came, my diet coke was ordinary coke and my partners cider hadn't been in the fridge.

- Whilst waiting for our dinner, we observed the gentleman next to us complain he had been waiting for food for 45mins and the girls behind us were served their dessert before they had even had their main!

- When we finally got our food at 20.45hrs, there was no salt in the saltcellar, my partners steak was med-rare and not well done as he ordered and my vegetables were dried up and barely warm.

- As we had to be somewhere at 21.00hrs we had to cancel dessert, but did not get a discount on our bill (it was 2 courses for about £12).

I guess on a quiet monday afternoon you may order exactly what you want, get it within reasonable time, and have drinks that are cold and a meal that is hot.
