I was brought up just across the road from the toddlers hut(born 1939)when beach lane was called ramsay lane, the todlers hut even then was very popular,especialy for lost children,it was so good i used to pretend i was lost just to be able to play there and get some attention which was sorely lacking from my parents, i also went to the school behind the hut, the tenament building i was brought up in is no longer there,i am curious why the name was changed to beach lane? i now live in kilmaurs ayrshire..
