HOPETOUN TROUT FISHERY

this fishery is the best for value in the hole of the lothian area. stocked with quality rainbow trout daily which are supplyed by penicuik fish farm. the fishery offers a no bag limit permit which is a rare thing at fisherys as they normaly have a 3 or 4 fish bag limit.also this fishery caters for bait anglers and not just fly fishermen. the staff are also keen to help you catch by giveing advice as to what is fishing the best.there is also natural coarse fish in hopetoun fishery which makes for a trully great days fishing,tench,bream,roach,perch,carp,& eels have all been captured and returned to fight another day with another angler!!there is an onsite catering van where a constant supply of hot or cold drink & food can be purchased. this is great on those cold wet days. there is also some great wildlife to be seen such as buzzards,phesants & other bird life also wild deer can be seen at times in the feilds that suround the fishery.i give this place a 10 out of 10 rateing a great place for a family day out.you can also win cash by catching a fishery tag fish! .
