"We didn't even get to finish our meal!!!"

Well what a disappointment the merlin roadhouse , mornindside is.a group of 6 of us went on sat 28th march 2009 for a frienda 3oth birthday and i feel she was badly let down by the staff.

the service was poor and slow. our food was only luke warm when it did arrive, they ran out of all the specials..there was no pie of the day, no pudding of the day..no rice. what sort of food place is this??

the waitress took ages to take away our empty plates that when she did arrive she told us that we had 5 minutes to decide if we wanted desert as the kitchen was closing, but she never came back. another waitress eventually came over and said we couldnt have any more food as they had closed the kitchen!!I CAN'T BELIEVE WE WERE TOLD WE COULDN'T ORDER THE REST OF OUR MEAL. unbelieveably bad service. i advise everynbody to stay well clear. they ruined our special night..
