"Great meal at The Verandah"

A review of Verandah by M Smith written on Friday 9th of October 2009

My family had a great meal at The Verandah Restaurant on Dalry Road, This little restaurant lies almost across the road from Haymarket Station. the restaurant is pretty spotless and the walls are a source of entertainment, adorned with photographs of the famous. The food is Indian and they serve the best dhal in Edinburgh. My favourite dish is rogon jhosh, lamb cooked with tomatoes and garlic and fragrant with spices, but not those of a fiery nature. Their nan bread is good and lamb pista pasanda is also delicious. Service was excellent..
