"No room in the Inn!"

On arrival on a Wed eve approx 7pm we were informed by confused staff that they were unable to serve us as they were short staffed. The duty manager should have been on hand to deal with customers and kept his/her staff informed and supported as to how to deal with such a situation. Not a good advert for the establishment. Bad enough for those of us who are local but appaling for visitors!.
