"Friendly People Making a Difference in Moredun!"

My wife and I were visiting Scotland and the area of Moredun in Gilmerton, where I grew up. We had tea and a nice chat with the ladies and men of the Moredun Community Center one sunny afternoon. They are a lovely group of people - friendly, helpful, and gracious. One of their fundraisers is selling high-quality knitted wear for children and adults. We purchased something for our daughter Caledonia back home in Seattle! One of the organizers has an MBE award for service to her community over many years.

A great group to work with or for in Edinburgh! .
