"Aye Fond Memories"

Sorry to hear about the closure. I have fond memories of going there as a wee laddie in the late 1940's early 1950's to watch my father Tam Richardson and Grandfather Davie Dinnie play on many occassions. Davie was famous for his "Googlie" which went straight up the middle to the jack.I have been in Australia for fifty years this year and have been bowling for a while myself, and was going to pay a visit to the club on my next trip home, alas not to be. What is to become of the site ? I guess they call it progress. Regards to Auld Reekie from Brisbane Australia..
