"Oh what a disappointment"

A review of Newhaven Quay Brewers Fayre by Sands written on Saturday 17th of September 2011

I visited The Newhaven Quay Brewers Fayre yesterday with two members of my family, I was disappointed in the quality of the food we were served the shared platter starter was deep fried so tasted very greasy. Then after about a twenty minute wait the mains arrived and I think my fish and chips had been under the heating lights all this time as it was so over cooked the fish had all but disappeared so I returned it and asked for it to be replaced which was done and what a surprise this time it was raw in the middle when I mentioned this the young Polish waitress shrugged and wandered off I was under the impression she had gone to get the manager but after sitting for another five minutes I walked out in disgust. Tut tut Brewers Fayre I have been to many of your restaurants in various parts of Great Britian and have never once had to complain, although this was not my first visit to Newhaven but it may be my last..
