"In store prices vastly inflated over online prices"

Having found the product I wanted (Parkzone Night Vapor plane £84.99) on Wonderland's website I called to confirm a friend who lived locally would collect it. In store he was charged £109.99 for the same product. When this was later challenged the store offered no help. I understand overheads etc associated with retail stores vs. web based shops but having clearly been a customer originating from the web I feel there was plenty of opportunity (on the phone) for them to alert me to the fact that the price would go up by over 29% if I bought in store.

It certainly left a bad taste in my mouth; I'd not shop there again as a result. That said, if you avoid the store the original price on line of £84.99 was (and is) a good price.

The plane is great by the way!.
