"Band - reply"

Disagree with what you say completely. If the band were willing to take a pay cut as you say to help the club out, which incidentally would no doubt have been a consideration, then by default you must accept that the club was already finding it hard to attract people with the entertainment on offer i.e. The band! Change shouldn't be perceived as either good or bad but as a necessity in today's climate.

Oh aye, last time I checked the club was called Gilmerton Bowling Club so you would kind of expect bowls to be pretty high on the agenda. .
