"In at the begining"

A review of Jenny's Home Made Sweets (Edinburgh) Ltd by Helen Capell written on Sunday 3rd of March 2024

My mum worked for Jenny Paterson in morrison Street. I also worked 1 night and weekends. In the shop. I remember her starting factory. Everybody came for her sweets and her butter tablet she used to make in the back shop. I loved working there and she had her regular customers. Obe of the most popular sweets at the time was toffee doddlea. Unfirtunately mum dued suddenly jan 1964 We lost touch as i was now working full time after leaving school.

Just loved Jenny"s.
